24/10/2008
The second national celebration of vocational qualifications will be on Wednesday 24 June 2009

Following the success of VQ Day 2008, Edge has announced that VQ Day 2009 will take place on Wednesday 24 June.

VQ Day celebrates the millions of people who study for a vocational qualification every year and those who help them achieve this success. VQ Day is a celebration of vocational excellence with learning providers, colleges and employers across the country being encouraged to get involved.

Plans for VQ Day 2009 will be officially launched at an event at the House of Commons on 4 March 2009. Guest speakers are still to be confirmed.
