Edge took the message that there are many paths to success to the highest levels, teaming up with the New Statesman to open the Labour party conference at Manchester Town Hall.

Commenting on the event, Edge Chief Executive Andy Powell said, "It's essential that everyone from Cabinet Ministers downwards understand the need for young people to have the opportunity to develop all their talents and abilities.
