Parents' attitudes to education

18/05/2009

Research carried out by Edge found that parents in the UK believe that secondary school is not working for 28% of children, supporting Edge’s campaign for a radical overhaul of the education.

The survey included over 1000 parents with children aged 11-16 currently in the education system.

Findings paint a concerning picture- 26% of mums and dads often worry that their child is not happy and 42% claim that only academically minded children do well at school.
