Provide technical, practical and vocational learning as
an integral and valued part of every young person's education and
as a recognised route to success
Policy: curriculum policies should include an
entitlement to practical, hands-on learning for all young

Perception: we must overturn the notion that
practical learning only benefits young people who struggle with
"academic" learning.
Practice: throughout their time at school,
young people should learn through making and doing as well as
through reading, writing, listening and seeing.
