Support Skills to Shine

We are pleased to advise you that the Pupil Premium Summer Schools Programme 2014 is now open for applications. If you are interested in Skills to Shine planning, developing and delivering your Summer School, there is still some availability throughout the summer.

This year's challenge will be: 'Into the Future'.

Imagine what life will be like in the future; What will the world look like? How will we travel? How will we communicate? And to make all of this possible, what jobs and careers will exist in the future?

By delving into computer science, specifically coding and programming, students will get a head start this summer on the new computing curriculum. Our Summer Schools will also prepare young people for the transition into secondary by increasing their motivation and desire for learning, together with giving them the skills, knowledge and experience to achieve their aspirations.
