The world as we know it is changing rapidly, and we need new ways to define and evidence the skills, knowledge and behaviours of our young people. With two years of exams cancelled from the pandemic, the world quickly adapted and we found new ways of assessing. Surely now must be the time to consider fundamental reform of our assessment system?
Join us as we consider what the future of assessment might look like.
We will hear from our keynote speakers Robert Halfon, MP who will lay out his vision for a reformed assessment system. Our second keynote speaker Sarah-Jayne Blakemore will then lead us through the latest science exploring ‘the teenage brain and exams misalignment’ before opening out discussion to wider panellists including Alice Barnard - CEO, The Edge Foundation; Phil Avery - Director of Education, Bohunt Education Trust; and Jonnie Noakes - Director of Teaching and Learning, Eton College and audience Q+A.
