Rebecca is Chief Executive Officer for the Ufi VocTech Trust, which is a grant funder and venture investor focused on supporting and encouraging innovation in the development and use of digital technology for adult vocational skills, with a particular focus on increasing opportunity and access for those ‘unloved’ sectors, skill levels and communities. She took up the position of CEO in 2014 , establishing the regular grant giving function and setting up Ufi Ventures. Rebecca has a background in innovation and technology and her previous experience includes roles with a regional focus, such as Director of Innovation for Advantage West Midlands, as well as experience in the civil service as Assistant Director, Innovation & Technology Policy (Regional Partnerships) for the Department of Trade and Industry.
