An evaluation of Edge Future Learning (EFL) reviewing training materials and resources of EFL, overview of the recruitment of the participating organisations, challenges and barriers to the implementation including reflections on why institutions may have dropped out and the interventions put in place to counter this. Additionally, considerations of the Derby report and how messages and recommendations have been taken on board in the most recent phase and the impact of the Covid pandemic during most of this time will be looked at. Alongside the evaluation, this project will explore the Wood Foundation’s Excelerate programme to understand what features of the Foundation’s approach have contributed to the successful roll out of PBL.
