The project explores the perspectives and experiences of careers advisors and professionals with an interest in green skills and jobs in Hampshire and the Solent region. The objectives of the research were to:
1) Understand how green skills and green jobs are understood by those working in education, policy, and industry
2) Identify the challenges and barriers to entry into green careers, particularly for young people and those from underrepresented groups
3) Propose a set of recommendations to support career consultants with the knowledge, tools and resources needed to effectively guide people towards green career pathways and low-carbon economy.
