As part of the Industrial Strategy, the government is working with industry, trade unions, local partners and wider stakeholders to develop Jobs Plans that address the workforce needs in each of the 8 growth-driving sectors, and in the Construction sector, and deliver opportunities across the country. They set out the workforce and skills challenges facing priority sectors, helping to inform implementation of the post-16 education and skills white paper and the pathways to priority occupations measure.
