We are interested in examining the extent to which degree apprenticeships overlap with work in the area of widening participation (WP) to HE. We are exploring how and in which ways university WP outreach teams have pivoted their offer to include consideration of degree apprenticeships; additionally, we would hope to explore the degree to which university leaderships are engaged with this provision.
The approach combines a qualitative case study approach while incorporating quantitative methods. The case study approach means focusing on two universities.
