Introduction and overview of the webinar
The Waldorf education model uniquely prepares students for the future by integrating academic learning with real-world skills. Its holistic, creative and student-centric approach rigorously builds knowledge and skills in an age-appropriate way, from kindergarten to upper school.
During this webinar, we explore how different stages of the Waldorf curriculum are designed to equip students with essential skills like planning, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork. This is achieved through multidisciplinary projects in areas like bread-making, farming, construction, business, sewing, and careers development.
Using economics as an example, the webinar explores how each subject area and year group builds students’ understanding, experience, knowledge and self-confidence over time, preparing them for post-school careers as apprentices, entrepreneurs or in Higher Education.
The sessions begin with an overview of the Waldorf curriculum before exploring how students study economics at various levels, ultimately guiding their transition from the classroom to the workforce.
